Mission Strategy

This mission is more difficult than it originally seems. It ends up playing out more like a War Room mission than a Campaign mission. Your first goal is to own the middle. From there, slowly push back Lash’s forces until you can capture or block her Bases. It’s best to push both enemy Bases at the same time because of the limited amount of space you have to work with.

You will want to capture the south west neutral City on the island for the Blue Moon Lab Map. This will unlock a hidden mission that will unlock Neotanks for the Blue Moon army for the rest of the campaign.

HQ Capture: Only one of Lash’s Bases is located near her HQ. If you focus entirely on pushing to that single Base, you can slip a Mech or Infantry in and capture her HQ. You will want to start with capturing the central Base. Build an Infantry Day 1 and send it directly there.

Owning the middle will allow you to create units closer to the enemy and apply more pressure. Be careful of enemy Mechs that can cross the Mountains and do significant damage to your new units. Also monitor any enemy Artillery and be careful of building units in the enemy’s range.

There are two approaches to the units you build in this map. Since it is small, a constant flow of Mechs will easily overpower the enemy. However, there is not a lot of room to maneuver. This means that high value units like Medium Tanks and Rockets will be a more efficient use of space.

Defeat All Enemies: This strategy will be similar to capturing the enemy HQ, but you will also be pushing toward the north enemy Base. This strategy is generally safer, as the north enemies won’t be able to flank your southern forces.

Prioritize destroying newly spawned enemies so that you can stop the enemy from producing more by placing a unit on top of the Base. Since you are going up against Lash, units on her Bases will be very powerful. If you can’t destroy a newly spawned unit, you can also surround it to block more from spawning.
