The enemy lab is in the mountains! Capture it quickly!
Mission Strategy
This is an optional mission unlocked by finding the Lab Map in Mission 4: Flak Attack. Beating this mission will unlock the Neotanks for use by Orange Star for the rest of the campaign.
You only have 7 Days to win this map. If you have not destroyed all enemy forces or captured the enemy Lab by the beginning of Day 8, you lose.
HQ Capture: For this mission, the enemy HQ is replaced with a Lab. The only difference between the Lab and a normal HQ is that it does not repair friendly ground units. Since this mission is Fog of War with hidden enemies, it’s best to aim to capture the enemy Lab rather than hunt down every enemy.
Advance across the Bridge and secure the area for your Infantry or Mech. Keep them safe and healthy in your APC until you get close. Use your Recon to scout where the enemy is and use your direct-fire block the enemy from reaching your APC.
Once you get close to the enemy Lab, be aware of the enemy Rockets hidden in the middle Woods. Use a weaker unit to reveal the Woods so that you can attack it with your stronger units. remember that if you don’t like how a turn went, you can always Reset Turn from the menu with no downside.
Defeat All Enemies: This is easily doable in the time limit, but you’ll have to be methodical and aggressive to find all the enemy units before your 7 Days are up. The enemies that will be tough to find are as follows:
- Rockets in the central Woods near the enemy Lab
- Artillery in the north east Woods
- Lander in the Reef
Turn by Turn Walkthrough
Day 1
- Destroy the enemy Artillery with your Artillery and Rockets
- Load your Mech into your APC
- Advance your Recon, APC, and Tank
Day 2
- Advance your APC, dropping the Mech toward the enemy HQ
- Attack the enemy Rockets with your Recon
- Destroy the enemy Anti-Air with your Medium Tank
Day 3
- Start capturing the enemy HQ with your Mech
- Destroy the enemy Rockets with your Recon
- Destroy the enemy Recon with your Medium Tank
Day 4
- Finish capturing the enemy HQ
