Classic Campaign – Mission 3: Fog of War!

The fog is thick on the way to the Lost Fortress! Let’s give our troops the vision to see it through.

Mission Strategy

This mission is the first introduction to Fog of War. As a general strategy, use your Recon, Infantry, and Mechs to scout the fog for your hard hitting Tanks and ranged units.

Following the tutorial should get you into a good position for Day 1, clearing the enemy Medium Tank and Rockets with no losses. The southern and eastern cities aren’t worth capturing, but you can use the central city to heal up before the final push.

Capturing the HQ is the quickest strategy, but only slightly. Be careful of the hidden enemy ranged units near the enemy HQ. An Artillery is in the northern woods and a Rocket is in the southern woods closest to the HQ.

If you are aiming to destroy all enemy forces to complete the mission, be sure to check the reef near the enemy HQ. Use your Rockets, Artillery, or Medium Tank to take the enemy Lander down.

Day 1

Move your Recon above the woods to scout
Fire your Rockets at the enemy Medium Tank
Destroy the enemy Medium Tank with your Medium Tank
Attack the enemy Rockets with your western Tank
Destroy the enemy Rockets with your other Tank
Move either of your Mechs into your APC
Advance your APC

Day 2

Attack the enemy Tank with your Medium Tank from the south
Destroy the enemy Tank with your northern Tank
Attack the enemy Tank with your other Tank
Move your APC and Recon into position

Day 3

Move your APC to spot the enemy Missiles, dropping your Mech off out of range of the enemy Artillery in the northern woods
Attack the enemy Missiles with your Medium Tank
Attack the enemy Infantry on the road with your Recon
Destroy the enemy Infantry with your injured Tank
Destroy the enemy Tank with your other Tank
