Venus Fisher – Catch Rare Servofish in the Orb Vallis

This guide will show you how to catch rare servofish in Orb Vallis for Warframe’s Nightwave weekly task.

BUG: There may be a bug that if you enter Orb Vallis from Fortuna after completing the New War quest, rare servofish WILL NOT COUNT for this Nightwave task. Instead, enter Orb Vallis directly from your Orbiter to load into the normal version.

Check the Weather First

The best place to catch rare servofish varies by weather. Check your map while in Orb Vallis to see the current weather. The current temperature can also be viewed from your Orbiter before loading in.

Best Places to Catch Rare Servofish in Orb Vallis

1. Warm Weather – Lake Hotspot – Longwinder

The easiest spot is the large lake (Coolant Reservoir) directly outside of the Fortuna elevator. However, this spot will only spawn rare servofish during warm weather.

2. Cold Weather – Pond Hotspot – Tromyzon

If warm weather is far off, the second easiest rare servofish to catch is the Tromyzon. Tromyzon can be found in Pond hotspots during cold weather.

3. Any Weather – Cave Hotspot – Charamote & Synathid

If you don’t want to worry about the weather, Charamote and Synathid can be found at any time. You will have to enter caves and find an active hotspot. Only some caves have coolant for fishing, and not all of them are hotspots.
