Isle of Armor Dojo Upgrades

As part of the Isle of Armor expansion for Pokemon Sword & Shield, you can upgrade you dojo to include new conveniences. This is done by talking with Honey near the backroom door inside the dojo that heals your Pokemon.

Are the Dojo Upgrades Worth It?

While most of the upgrades add things that can be found elsewhere, there are a few things that can only be obtained through this process.

If you are into competitive Pokemon, the most important upgrade to get are the vitamins. These items are used to upgrade your Pokemon’s Effort Values (EVs). While they could already be purchased in the base game, they can be bought in bulk at half the normal price through the dojo. This means that filling out a blank competitive Pokemon’s EVs will only cost just over 250,000 Pokédollars instead of the normal 500,000.

If you are into cosmetics, namely League Cards, there is one background for your League Card and two collectible NPC League Cards that can only be obtained through these upgrades
